During a mentorship dinner, I asked Marla if I could shadow her while she was anchoring. She said yes, and I got to spend an entire day at FOX LA, hoping one day like her, I could serve my community as a TV News Anchor. Fast forward to today, I get an unexpected call from our @fox40news team that FOX LA wants me to report for them live on TV during a major weather event in NorCal! I got to share the screen with LEGENDS @elexmichaelson (fellow @uscannenberg alum) and @devinenews (fellow fashion aficionado). And little did I know, that Marla was watching!
